The role
The Mental Projector is here to guide, To organize, To bring an answer, to think. Maybe even to take over and organize when invited and step back when it's done.
So that would be his/her job. Not working as a super-slave of energy types. Not running around and doing and pushing and acting like a MG.
Because if we end up working like Generators, building like Manifestors, or initiating like Manifestors, we are veeeery off from our design. And the body lets us know, pretty quickly.
“You are here to organize energy. You are here to guide energy. And you’re here to get rewarded for that. You’re not here to be the worker. You’re not.”
The system
The Mental Projector has the right to be invited by mastering something, a system. The thing itself does not matter as it can be anything.
Biology, Law, Literature, Design, Therapy, Software engineer or a Human Design analyst. The label is not the point, the system is the point.
The system you study is your way to find your grounding in this world. The system gives you a way to understand this plane and help others with your knowledge. And often the studied system is what people pay you to know.
“You can be a butcher, a doctor, a lawyer, a pharmacist, on and on and on. Doesn’t matter what the system is, what the thing is, but the system is always your way to find your grounding and claim your worth because you have the capacity, the intellectual capacity to be able to probe and to be able to master these systems.”
“The most important thing for any projector is that they have to master something intellectually. This is a key to your well-being.”
The trap
The most common shape this takes is the Projector running their own business as if they were a Generator. Working the same hours, from 9 to 5 or more... carrying the same load and pushing even further. It's like driving a car until something breaks without any backup plan.
And the breakage shows up as deep exhaustion + the nagging bitterness in the stomach area. Eventually the body will fail, burnout, breakdown.
“I see projectors with their businesses and their stuff. They drive themselves mad. Because are flying around on the slave energy. Trying to be generators. Trying to get things done. Trying to build things, instead of being in a natural position where they are guiding other people to do that.”
“There is nothing more dangerous for a projector than exhaustion. Nothing.”
The mind at work
The whole reason we should not run our lives from the mind is the same reason the mind is brilliant when pointed outward.
Inwards: dualistic, conditioned, can argue any side, will eat itself for breakfast. Outwards: clear, structural, mechanically able to see what other people cannot see in their own situation.
So if you make us of it. Do it out there, on their problems - when invited! Use your mental definition to help them with their decisions. But do not use it for your own life.
“Where your mind is a delight, is outer authority! You’re a projector, you’re here to guide. Use all that measuring as outer authority for the other, for your three generators. Larry, Curly and Moe, you tell them to do their thing. 'You do this, you do that, you do that.' That’s what you’re really good at.”
