What is a Mental Projector
About two to three in a hundred designs. Mind and throat. Everything else is undefined.

The truth about us
I find this fascinating. Ra was very direct about it.
He said most Projectors guide out of their life force, like their intuition, when invited. A Splenic life force guides in a certain way. An Emotional life force guides in another way. Those two forces are very different and they do not mix well.
And then there is us. The Mental Projector. No motorized life force at all. Nothing reliable below the throat.
So when Ra said the Mental Projector should not even be called a Projector, what he meant is this. The mechanics are profoundly different. We do not run on the same fuel or the same generalization.

If you have a Projector and the only definition is from the throat up, you have six open centers, sometimes even seven. Only the Ajna (mind) is always there. Sometimes with Throat, sometimes with Head.
So there is different sub-types. Some Mental Projectors only have Ajna and Throat. Some also have the Head connected to the Ajna. Both are Mental Projectors.
And both share the same condition. There is no direct Inner Authority because there is nothing below the Throat. There isn’t anything there that is reliable.

The rarity
Ra never used the phrase "rarest of the rare". He used different words. He called the Mental Projector “a very rare variation of what it is to be a Projector”.
The numbers are these. About 20-23% of all designs are Projectors. Of those, only a small slice are "Mentis". Around 2-3% of the entire human population. Two to three out of every hundred people you walk past on the street.
Not as rare as some people claim. But still rare enough that most of us go a long time without meeting another one.

The awareness
Here is the gift. The thing the design actually does well.
The mind is fixed (Head+Ajna or just the Ajna). It is consistent. It is always operating. We are gifted on the mental plane.
And when that mind connects to the throat, the capacity is specific. The ability to arrive at logical, abstract or individual concepts. The ability to express amoral perspectives, organizing opinions or stimulating stories. But it's not our truth in the sense of that we can act upon it. It maybe carries a truth about how things (could) work, mechanically, when we are asked. When we become outer authorities.

“This is a person who has a very specific capacity to process energy and information in the mental vehicles and has the ability to arrive at mental truth, the ability to arrive at the correct concepts, and when it’s expressed or connected to the throat, the ability to express truth.”
