Ra: “For the mental projector everything is about their relationship to the other as all projectors are but in their case it’s very acute.”
Acute is the word. The whole quality of life depends on who is around us.

The conditioning
From the moment we came into the world we were deeply conditioned. Not occasionally and lightly. Deeply! Because this world is not made for us.
Every undefined center is a place where the other comes in, without knocking. Their emotions, their pressure, their identity, their willpower, their fear. All of it lands in us and sometimes can feel like it's ours.
This is what makes the question of "who is around me" so important!
“What is really important to understand is, how vulnerable the projector is. All projectors enter into relationships, enter into any connection with the other very naked. Very open to conditioning.”
The allies
The Mental Projector cannot generate. We cannot manifest. We have no consistent bodily life force (motor, sacral, etc.) of our own. So we have to be in the correct relationship with people who do have that.
Generators bring sacral energy, a gut response, the generating part. We bring the seeing, the system, the guidance. The fit is mechanical, like lock and key.
“These beings the 20-34s [Manifesting Generators] they tend to be loose cannons… they are your great allies in this life and there are tons of them… and you are their ideal other. This is the place where what I refer to as the important relationship that has to develop between the generator and the projector. This is where that relationship has its core.”
The mirror
Generators can be our energetic allies. But for our own awakening, we need the mirror...
We learn through reflection and throuth the other, not by looking inwards. And the reflection has to come from someone who has already done the work, or at least is deconditioned enough. Another Projector with their Inner Authority intact so to say.
That is the camaraderie that wakes us up. Not seeing ourselves in a Type that has nothing to do with our lifes but seeing ourselves in someone who displays a true-self frequency as a Projector.
“Projectors learn through the mirror, so though the mental Projector is here to lead, they will only wake up in relationship to an awakened Projector: a Projector with inner authority is the only positive force for a mental Projector.”
The bedroom
If you take one practical thing from this whole page, take this one.
The Mental Projector is so open and so conditioned by the other that even in sleep we are processing their stuff. Their mood, emotions, tension - you name it. It's almost like we carry it in our undefined centers, even if they're gone.
Ra was pretty direct about this point. He said it to almost every Mental Projector he gave a reading.
“Make sure that when you get ready to go to sleep that you really relax beforehand, your nonsacral being clean out your system. And in your case particularly, and I say this to everybody, it is so important for you to sleep in your own aura. It is so easy for you to be distorted by the presence of the other.”
